Hawarden Rangers confirms that Sean Regan has taken the decision to step down as first team manager due to family commitments.

Unfortunately for everyone in Welsh football, the pandemic has impacted all clubs with adverse effects. With the 2020-2021 campaign not taking place, the decision by Sean has come early to take some time away from the game to spend time with his family, including newborn baby.

Sean joined the Rangers in 2019 at a difficult time for the club, after being relegated for the first time in the clubs recent history. He joined the club with a wealth of experience of developing young players which was perfect match for the group of players at the club. Proven to be the case, the club went on to win the Welsh National League Division 1 in the 2019-2020 season with aspirations to bounce back into what became the restructured FAW Ardal Leagues.

The club is saddened to see Sean leaving his post after a successful period and would like to thank him for all his hard work and dedication to Hawarden Rangers over the past 2 years. We wish him every happiness with his family and hope to see him back involved in the game in the future.
