We are inviting applications for the roles of Senior Section Coach (to cover the First Team and/or Reserve Team) and First Team Support at Hawarden Rangers. Both are key positions within the club and play a vital role in our continued success.

Both teams currently compete in the NEWFA League, with the First Team in the North East Wales Premier Division and the Reserves in the NEWFL Reserve Division.

The successful candidate(s) will work closely with our management team and senior section coaches to support our collective goal of player development and progression. This includes maintaining strong ties with our successful Youth Team, ensuring a clear pathway for player advancement.

Senior Coach:

As a coach in the senior section, you will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of training sessions as well as support on match days. We have a small, dedicated team of volunteers who will look after the ‘off field’ allowing you to focus on all things ‘on field’!
An FAW coaching qualification or equivalent is desired but not essential (or proof you’re working toward) and you will be supported by the club throughout your coaching journey via FAW course where necessary/desired, for continued personal development.
Additionally, having a valid FAW Safeguarding Award and FAW First Aid Award is beneficial, though not mandatory. The club will arrange for you to obtain these certifications at the earliest opportunity.

First Team Support:

The First Team is seeking additional match day support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing equipment and kits, welcoming away team players and officials, and preparing the pitch for home fixtures.
This role has the flexibility to grow and evolve based on your interests, giving you the chance to make it your own.
