Excellent Afternoons Football by the Gers

Thanks to all who attended today's afternoon fixture against Greenfield.

I am glad that I organised the 3g pitches weeks ago as Gladstone was again closed for mini football again this morning.

It is a shame that Greenfield only have 2 teams so we managed to have 6 matches...but to be successful (against 2 physical sides @ times) in 5 & draw the other is a decent achievement on a windy day which can be a leveller.

Well done to Lewis, Mason, Matthew & Luke for their awards

I hope the lads that are going to The Kings School enjoy themselves tomorrow - **Please meet at 5.45pm & wear the Nike matchday kit**

Training as usual on Thursday but no football activity next weekend - so enjoy your 1st free weekend of the year smile

Our next match is @ home in a fortnight v Buckley but we will wait to see if we can get back on the grass b4 confirming times etc
