Rangers Return!
Dave Roberts side get set to return to competitive action for the first time since March 2020.
Following the postponement of Brymbo Victoria home game on the weekend, Rangers have been made to wait a little longer before making a reappearance to competitive fixtures.
Speaking with newly appointed first team manager Dave Roberts, he's been looking forward to the return:
"I’m really excited to finally get back to some competitive action and first competitive game as manager of this great club. It’s been a long 16 months full of ups and downs for everyone and I know that the lads are chomping at the bit to get going."
The delay to the opening fixture was due to a Covid-19 outbreak amongst the Brymbo camp, but that's not stopped the eagerly awaited return according to Roberts:
"Obviously missing out on the season opener on Saturday was a disappointment but we’re ready to get going and have a successful season."
Roberts' Rangers make the trip to the Queensway to face FC Queens Park tonight, kicking off at 6:30pm. Before a home tie in the FAW Welsh Cup Qualifying Round 1 against Mynydd Isa Spartans, in Dave's first game at The Gladstone, kick off at 2pm.
